I would like to report a driver of the Gold Line Taxi Service of using drugs and/or alcohol on the job. On several occassions, I rode with the same driver and each time the guy named John smelled of alcohol and talked as though he was on drugs. I have talked with a few people who have had similar occurrences with this man, and they have told me he is also into drugs and does them on the job. I overheard him telling another driver as I was walking away that he would only claim the one person that ordered the cab, which was me, so that he could keep all the money from everyone else that got in with me.
This doesn't seem to be a very fair practice and being a business person myself, I have a problem with a public service employee drinking and doing drugs on the job. I have more of a problem with a company who continues to keep this person on their payroll. I'm not sure, but I'm pretty sure I heard the dispatcher call him number 68, so if anyone is familiar with this cab company look out for this particular driver because it can't be safe to call someone to drive you around who is no better off than you are. The people of Fort Knox deserve better service than this company provides.
