I was going to get student housing before my school started, b/c I used to live 2 hours from school. I wasn't given the privledge of seeing the apartment or living conditions, I thought nothing of it because I was excited.
I paid for the lease and me and my mother drove back and we packed my stuff and when I went to the apt. I was shocked! I did not get my own room and the room I was supposed to move in had 2 beds and 1 dresser and 1 closet VERY SMALL.
The room was so small the beds where almost touching! So 3-4 days after contemplating, I turned my key in to the office and they yelled at me saying I can't break the lease, I told them I didn't care! I didn't even move in!!!
Now they have been after me since 6 and are after me for $800 and they are ruining my credit. Me and my mother have told them over the phone and wrote them letters explaining I turned my key in less than a week after I paid and I owe them NOTHING!
They will not leave me alone and they don't get it. When ever I can afford a lawyer I am going to sue those bastards!
