A few years ago we hired Centex to come in to treat for ants... What we recieve was much more than we asked... A tech went into the attic to use a power spray gun charged with poison, after completing the attic, he handed the un-trained tech on the floor the gun, which he turned on by mistake, not knowing how he turned it on, he had no idea how to turn it off. It first sprayed the master closet, out into the master bedroom and parts of the greatroom, also the a/c was on at the time of the company
error and the poison was carried though out the home. The two techs (one trained and one not) opened the windows and doors to help vent the poison, but this, because of the draft only served to make things worse, the poison was so thick it was said that you could not see your hand in front of your face. So the poison covered everything... Silk plants, dishes, carpets, books, pictures, pots and pans, all the furniture... The entire home and all it's belongings where covered with this poison. Dr. Simmons said these items could never be cleaned, Centex had many words, many statements of correction, but action was NEVER taken to help result the mess they made of our home and our life. The master closet was the first to be affected and Phil Mannis of Centex said to have them cleaned and that Centex would pay for them, well $1600.00 later, guess who paid for them, we did, then the Dr. Said that you can not clean these items due to the type of poison, so we trashed all the items, this was not all, due to Centex's words to restore us and in waiting for this we lived in over 35 different places, hotels, motels, friends, family, campsites, motorhomes, sometimes one night, sometimes a week and sometimes longer. You never knew, you only hoped, that soon the * that Centex had entered us into would end soon. One of the biggest stressers was that we still had to pay our morgage on the home that was sprayed with poison by Centex while renting a second place.
We had to clean our home with no help from Centex and the weight of the construction dumpter we had to rent was one point nine tons of our personal belongings. Well four years later nothing has changed. We continue to fight this very large company with no progress. I know we suffered great at the hands of this Centex company, that during the Christmas season was on the radio saying "we care about the family and we are here for you" really? It's so I can not see a Centex truck on the road without being upset, once again this event with Centex has changed my life forever, for the bad, and has cost us over $120,000—pretty costy pest control don't you think?
So, thanks again Centex and Phil Mannis for destroying the life of a fellow human with no regard, except the money, thank you for the " Christian Way guys" All hail King Centex who acts as God over others lifes.
