I called these jerks after I was having problems with a local container company in the area. I heard about them through a friend and gave them a call. The previous company had been missing pick ups and ruining my pavement every other week with leaking stained containers.
I signed up with this Hallowman service and they were very professional at the beginning, offering not only container but reasonable cleaning services as well, although somewhat expensive. They wanted $5,000.00 up front to begin routine drop off and pick ups/cleaning and then $1,500.00 every other week for "services rendered". I had no idea that these rip-off clowns were using my warehouse as a "piggy bank"; I stored copper, brass, fiber optic cable and steel for the city and many large construction/phone/internet companies.
The "cleaning crew" would clean me out all right, using containers as the "transport system" with the bottom half full of material, covered with a layer of carboard/garbage. Then they charged me for the total weight of the container at the dump; half the weight was already paid for and mine to begin with!
I found out through different sources that the company had a "silent partner" named Sean "Fad" Fadden, a suspected Irish Gangster with alleged organized crime ties throughout Northeast PA and NY. Anyway, stear clear of these rip offs!!!
