AT&T Universal Card used to call me at home at least once a week and try and get me to sign up for their credit card protection service. Every time I stated "No" and asked them to quit calling me. I asked them to put a "no call" notation in my account on their computer. I asked to speak to a supervisor but, one was never there (surprise!).
Now that I have canceled my AT&T cable TV service, the phone calls come, on average, once a day. (Today they called twice). Can you see the impact of one action on the other? They have called at 7:25 AM on a Saturday and they have called at 8:57 PM during the week.
I have complained to them and told them I consider this harrassment. I am now in the process of getting a different credit card (and maybe changing my phone number). Too bad I have to do this but, why should they listen to me? I'm nothing to them but an entry in their data bank.
