On 2/2 I purchased H&R Blocks TaxCut Deluxe 2001 Federal and State Software over the internet and downloaded it to my computer. My bank account was charged $44.90 on 2/5.
On 2/3 after finding out that the program would not start on my computer I requested from H & R Block online the necessary form be sent to me to request a refund on my purchase.
After no response to my request I again sent them e-mail on 2/5,2/8, and 2/9. I finally got a response from them on 2/9 and promptly filled out their required form and returned it to them via e-mail the same day.
On 2/13 my bank account was credited $19.95 (NOT $44.90). Since discovering this I have communicated via e-mail with them several times attempting to get them to correct their mistake or give me the full credit due me. They keep telling me that I must send them a filled-out form which they supplied to me in order to get a full refund. I have now done this three times and I am still getting the run around.
I have given them an order confirmation #, an e-mail confirmation #, and the customer # assigned to me when I originally made the purchase. Each response I get totally ignores the information given to them by me and it is always from a different person. BEWARE! Even though they offer a full money-back guarantee, the people at customer service who you must go through ABSOLUTELY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!
