I recently had an encounter with VMC Satellite of Fairfax, Virginia. I signed up over the Internet for Dish Network satellite service through VMC on 1/2.
I called the very next day and cancelled my order 1/3. I contacted them again on 1/19 to check on the status and was advised to mail back the certificate with my individual record number on there.
I returned that item as requested on 1/21. I contacted VMC on 1/30 to inquire about the status of my cancellation. At that time I spoke with Kelly at extension 1235.
She then advised me that I needed to mail back a brown form. I never received a brown form from VMC and indicated this to Kelly. VMC has refused the credit me the $49.99 charged to my credit card even though I returned all items sent to me from VMC.
They insist that I need to send back a brown form, which I have never received. I requested this form to be sent to me but they refused to do that.
I wish to file a formal complaint against this company as a first step in getting my money refunded. I hope the FCC can provide assistance in resolving this complaint.
