My Workers Compensation case was a joke. I was told to get an attorney to represent my case because I needed one. From the beginning I was told that I had a good case.
I went to meet Mr. Tucker in person and I understood he was going to defend me. The day of my Benefits review case I meet someone else I never meet before.
On that occation the company lawyer lied about my medical condition and my attorney said is ok. Days later the officer sent a letter that said that I need more medical proff to show that my injury was related to my work.
My pain was 9/10 and nobody cared about how I was feeling that day. My CCH was set for 2 months later. My condition agravated.
A month later I was called to come and answer some questions so they will know more about my case. My attorney was not present. His assistant had the date of the CCH mistaken I had clarify this to her.
Many documents were faxed to his office in relation to my condition from my own fax. Calls never returned and email either.
All this time I was mislead of the bad service I was getting. The day of my CCH I meet a person five minutes before the hearing and he informed me that he was going to defend me on my Workers Compensation Case his name was Kenneth.
My family was not allowed to enter. They had a lot of documents that I could not carry because I was in pain.
During this hearing my questions were not enough to get to the reality of the abuse by the company that I work for. Then the company attorney asked questions that did not expressed that either.
Then my manager under oath lied to the judge 10 times about the reality of my injuries and work that I performed. I made sure that this substitute lawyer was aware of what was going on.
Every time she lied I told him. That's ok, he responded. At the end of the hearing I was expecting some questioning from his part in reference to all those lies and he did nothing.
I got up and left. Then he came out and I told him that we lost. He said we can appeal. I went home and cried.
Two weeks later I received the results from my hearing and I lost. I fax him the copies of the results because he keep saying that he never got them.
Finnaly I found out that he had his prior place of employment not his current so his mail went to his other place. My appeal day was almost there so I fired him because he had no true intentions to help me. Call me if you need me, he said.
I went to pick up my file copies and found that the faxes that I sent were inside. They were lying to me.
I went to WC and requested help from customer service - ombusman. On that day I saw my run away lawyer still representing people and I got very upset.
He was sitting next to me and he did not recognized me. I appealed by myself. I lost my appeal due to the lies told by my manager and even after refuting them with tons of documents.
This attorneys at Tucker Associates did nothing for my case. I filled a grievance againts Mr. O Connel and to this day never heard a word. Just because he sent someone to represent me he got away with it.
I lost faith in justice.
