I was contacted by Annette Davis, a headhunter for Ready4hire by phone.
Somehow she got a copy of my resume and told me that there were a few job openings that I would be perfect for. These openings are at Disney Online in the LA area.
She told me that I had to fill out a questionaire at their website and then she would forward my resume to the hiring managers.
I filled out the long questionaire the next day.
I didn't hear for her for over 1 week.
I called her and asked what was happening.
Annette Davis told me that my resume now didn't look right and that I needed to add more information. I did that and sent her an updated resume.
Another week passed and no word from Annette Davis.
After another week I called and asked her if she sent my resume.
She said that she didn't forward my updated resume and she felt that now my 20 years experience in Silicon Valley was now what her client (Disney) was looking for.
So I asked her why did she lie and waste my time?
She had no response and told me that my career was out of date and started to insult me and my experience.
She showed me what type of unprofessional and useless headhunter she really is. Too bad she has no professional job skills other then trying to find jobs for real professionals like myself.
Stay away from her and ready4hire.
