In October I registered with a rental agency, Cal Rentals. This company was suppose to assist me in finding an apartment. I registered with them over the phone and gave them my credit card to pay for the fee. Since their customer service was so poor, I decided not to use their services and asked for a refund immediately. I was denied my refund and had to wait 90 days to receive it. When my 90 days past, I only received a partial refund. The customer service representative Dave Calvo, stated that its in my contract that Cal Rentals can keep $50 as their service fee. I did not receive anything in writing which states this claim nor was I told over the phone when I registered. Basically I paid them $50 for their poor customer service and bad business practices. I found their representatives unhelpful and the customer service representative, Dave, unprofessional.
