Your best bet for recovering your ($39.95) "membership fee" (once you've realized this website isn't what it promises to be) is to *immediately* (as soon as possible) request a refund credit be made to your credit card (if you used one). I did this and it worked!
Use all available avenues to do this: Call them and leave a message; e-mail your request (even though you won't get an answer); and... Most importantly follow the links into the "Clickbank" site and fill out their on-line form to request a refund. This is what got results for me. A full amount was credited in just a few days.
Another route is to call the 800 number on the back of your credit card and report this (right away) as an "unauthorized charge" and see where this gets you.
Main thing is to ACT at your soonest opportunity and to keep a paper trail of your requests, just in case.
