As others have done, I too fell for the Agents Travel Network Scam.
Teliflex Communications works through this company. I was told when I got my letters that I needed to cancel within a given time period, in which Teliflex was 21 days. I cancelled the day I got the letter in the mail by calling their customer service number. However, today when looking over my checking account I noticed 2 charges for $49.95 each.
Even with my cancellation they still charged me. This seems to be a trend with this company. They offered to give me a refund for the $99.90 in the form of a mailed check. It is supposed to be mailed out to me by Monday which is 4 days from now. The representative that I talked to told me to call back Monday to verify that accounting sent it out.
Judging from others who have had experiences with this fraudulent company, I would assume I will be talking to them several more times in the near future. Don't fall for this if the Agents Travel Network calls you. It was a boneheaded mistake by me and I am now having to deal with it.
