Today I noticed that $49.95 was taken out of my account from a company called VersiTalk. I called the number for customer service and waited ten minutes to talk to someone. I talked to a woman named Jennifer Clemmins. I told her about the money and wanted to know who authorized the money taken out. She told me she couldn't help me because I called the wrong number. She gave me the number to Teliflex and said that was the number I should call.
Looking over my account for the past few months, I noticed that there were FOUR instances of this company taking money out. There was $59.95 taken out in January under the name of Agents Travel Network, Inc. Then in February Teliflex took out $49.95, and then Capital Vacations took out $19.95 last week. That is a total of $179.80 they have taken!
So, before I called Teliflex like Jennifer said, I called all the customer service numbers and cancelled my account with them through the automated service. I then called Teliflex. Guess who answered the phone? JENNFIER CLEMMINS! I told her that I just spoke with her and she told me to call this number. She said that she gets all the roll over calls. Anyway, I told her my story again, this time with two instances since Teliflex did take some money along with VersiTalk. She told me that she could refund the 49.95 from today (in 3-5 days), but not the other 49.95 because they have a 30 refund policy.
I told her that I never received information from Teliflex or Versitalk, so how was I supposed to know their policy? She told me that there was no sign of a bad address or returned mail in their system, so the information was in fact sent out. I asked her if the information was sent, then how come I haven't received it? She didn't know and said that they can't help what happens in the mail after they send it out.
After that conversation, I asked her what other companies was she affiliated with. She said they were a private organization and asked me who I was looking for. I told her about the four instances of funds taken from me and I gave her their names. I told her that I think that they are all related. She asked me why, and I told her that all of the four companies have the same recordings, same menu options, same wait times, and it didn't help that I called one number and got you, you tell me to call another number which is the right number and I get you again. Of course she denied everything.
After that phone call, I called Capital Vacations. You know who answered the phone. She told me that they were experiencing extremely high call volume and if I leave my name and number someone will call me back. I told her that I wanted to talk to someone right now. She wouldn't let me and told me that someone will get back to me as soon as they can.
Finally I called Agents Travel Network. I really really thought I was gonna get Jennifer Clemmins, but I got someone named Nancy. She gave me the same speech about call volume. I asked her could I ask a quick question, but she said that she only answers the phones and she'll have someone call me back really soon.
I think I'll call back and see if I can get Jennifer.
