Paid for removal of all old shingles, flashing, and drip edge and new installation of same. Only half of the old shingles were removed. Half of the drip edge was new. No new flashing was installed anywhere.
New shingles still have protective plastic strip attached and therefore tar on new shingles will never bond to shingle under it. Roof leaks worse than it did before. Spread black tar in area's that roofing material was cut to short. No rubber boots were used around vent pipes in roof. Black tar was used instead. Black tar was everywhere including all over the vinyl siding of the house.
No attempt has been made to fix the problems even though it has been promised verbally several times. The owner is aware of the poor quality installation we received and that we are requesting reimbursement of the money we paid them but has done nothing to make good on this poor excuse of a newly installed roof.
