I was filling out credit card applications online last month and I received an advertisment in my e-mail box. I filled it out thinking that it was a regular credit card. Minutes later I read a confirmation and noticed it was a card which could only be used at their online store. I immediately e-mailed them and to cancel my application. Two days later $149.00 dollars was taken from my account and I called the company and cancelled my membership. I then called my bank and filed a claim to be reimbursed. Two weeks later the claim was settled and the money was put back in my account. One week later they recharged me over again to get the money back. I called them back about the situation and the customer service rep was very arogant and demonstative with me saying they taped my cancellation call and that I filled out the application online and gave my account information. Now I'm paying for a card I cancelled, so the fact of the matter is that they stole $140.00 dollars from my account. This company is deceptive and dishonest. I will try to get a lawyer if my bank doesn't advocate for me.
