On May 11 I called the local Shoe Sensation, where I have purchased shoes for myself and my four kids many times. I first asked about a certain brand of shoes being in stock and was told yes. I then told the lady that I had purchased a pair of shoes about 5 weeks ago and that the rubber on the tips was peeling off. I politely asked her if there was any way to look up my receipt in the cash register as they ask for your name or phone number when you make a purchase.
I was told "hold on", the next thing I heard was " theres a *ing *hole here on the phone wanting to return a pair of 3 month old shoes" to my disbelief. Somehow I was able to mantain my composure and spoke to her boss the store asst. Manager Brandy, who was nice but I was never told I'm sorry.
On May 12 I called the store manager Mellissa and told her what happened and was told not to lose any sleep over it, and that she would get back in touch with me. I also called Heather Hayden at 1-888-399-7463 and left a message on her machine asking for a call back. As of today May 14, they will not return my calls.
