I ordered a game for my son on Apr 6th. Supposedly went out Apr 7th. Didn't get here by "latest delivery date", so I emailed custmer service.
They got back to me telling me to wait a few days. Few days went by, no game. Emailed again, told again to wait a few days, then they'll "investigate".
By Apr 21, still no game. Emailed again. Now, they are out of stock. But, the only way they will give me a refund is if I go to a walmart, purchase a gift card, and get back to them. Then, they will refund my money in store credit onto the card I purchased.
I got back to them, stating I have no problem getting store credit, even for the portion I paid for using my Visa, not gift card, but I can't get to a walmart anytime soon, could they just issue a cert/card for full amount?
The latest is that they cannot do a thing for me until I buy another gift card. Now, I did nothing wrong. The game never got to me, I let them know from Apr 16th that it hasn't gotten here.
I got nothing but the run-around for a week now. So why do I need to make an ADDITIONAL purchase in order to get a refund on my own money? There is no way I would ever buy from walmart.com again, or recommend it to anyone.
