On my SBC bill, I was billed for $16.30 for something called Members Edge Family Email Setup Fee.
I did not order this service. When I called in February, the first person I talked to said she would credit my SBC account.
When I called today (4-5-05) I was told they could not credit my account and that I had to make the connection cause they had my email address. I asked what other information they had they said none.
So I said well anyone could have done that. I get junk mail on line how do I know you did not make up all that and charged me. I was told no way they could have done that. I had to be the one who order this service.
I did not order this service at all. I am the only one on my computer and I know I did not do this. They ripped me off of $16.30. Besides all this they are a very rude on the phone. I have no idea what city they are in as none of that information is on my phone bill. All I have is a 800 number.
They are a fake and need to stop ripping people off.
