Vector Security has terrible service. I have had contact with Vector employees on over a dozen occasions in the last six months and each time I have dealt with rude, unprofessional, incompetent individuals. Each interaction has left me with a foul taste in my mouth.
In November I called the Columbia Office and requested to discontinue the auto draft of my credit card and make service and installation payments by check via the USPS. Well, November, another draft was made from my credit card in the amount of $296 giving me an overdraft fee of $35. Needless to say, I did not mail in a payment in November.
Again, a charge was made to my credit card in December in the amount of $296. Again the agreement that I made with the agent in November was violated and again I incurred another $35 over limit fee. And again the exact same thing occurred in January. Keep in mind that during this period of time Vector had a representative call my home everyday and leave a message. After working twelve hours a day I could count on the fact that I would have a message from this company when I arrived at home.
Well, I happened to have been working from home one day in January and I intercepted one of the calls. The representative told me that my account was past due, I explained that until you stop drafting my credit card as previously agreed I will not send in a payment. Of course this woman was rude and unprofessional so I asked for her supervisor. She transferred me to a voice mail to a woman named Shayla. I have never spoke to this person, I would call and hold 10 minutes only to be put through to her voice mail. I even left my email address for this person to contact me in an attempt to resolve this matter.
On March 10 once again a rude unprofessional person called my home. She was speaking over me, raising her voice, so again I asked for her supervisor. Again I was transferred to a voice mail. Well this time I waited by the phone to make sure I received the call, because I had enough of the deceptive business practices and harassment. Well, Ms Jackson called me back, and she was more nasty and unprofessional than anyone that I had spoken with prior to her. Ms Jackson called me a liar and stated that I had never called in and requested that my credit card be removed from the auto pay. She also stated that there was no record of me speaking to any of the representatives that called my home everyday and I have phone records to prove it. She claimed that they stopped the charges to my credit card but in fact that was a lie, because I had the charge denied by my credit card company.
When Ms Jackson finished being discourteous and rude she hung up in my face while I was speaking. After that incident, my husband called the Joseph Taylor, the sales rep that sold us this mess and he answered the phone saying I am on another call, I will call you right back. This was over a week ago and we have not heard from him since.
On Saturday, March 18th, I received a certified letter from this rip off company threatening that if I do not call your company to provide bank or credit card information within ten days my account will go to collections. Why would I call a company that has lied, deceived and mistreated me and then to add insult to injury hung up in my face? Would you pay money to be treated like dirt? I wouldn't!
I have not even mentioned the poor installation, which was wired through an electrical outlet in my garage for any common criminal to see, or the poor service we have received from the dispatch operators.
It seems as though Vector has gone to the gutter and held a job fair, and the results comprise their Columbia Office.
