After nearly 6 weeks of being given the runaround by FACG, I finally decided it was time to make my voice be heard. I'm a very passive guy who can be very understanding.

I completed a work order on October 10. I submitted all the proper paper work and my account showed a credit of $182.75. I filed a request for payment on October 19.

On October 29 I still had not received payment so I decided to contact them by phone to find out what the delay was. Upon doing so I was told payments were processed on the 1st and 15th of every month. They told me my payment would be processed in a couple of days. That was the perfect answer. So I expected it around the 7th or 8th of November.

On November 9th I called back again. Still no check. They assured me the payment was processed and mailed on the 2nd and that I should give it a few days.

A few days past still no check! By this time I was getting a little agitated. I called back and was told the same thing. IT was processed and mailed on the 2nd. I said that's what i was told last time. Now its almost 2 weeks since then and I still haven't received my payment. The gentleman on the phone took my name and number (as if they didn't already have it) and said some one would contact me within 72 hours.

One week later, wednesday November 23, I still had not been contacted so I called back and was directed to a voicemail service. I clearly stated my username, and comments and ended the message with "if this isn't resolved by the end of the week I will contact the better business bureau". A bit harsh considering that it was the day before Thanksgiving. I tried back on the Friday after thanksgiving hoping someone might be in the office. NO LUCK!!!

Monday November 28 I called and was able to get ahold of an actual person for the first time in 2 weeks. When I stated my reason for calling he said, "Let me transfer you to the person you are trying to reach" Next thing I know I am getting the message for the voicemail system again. I hang up laughing thinking he made a mistake. I call back and inform him again laughing that he mistakenly transfered me to the same voicemail system I had mentioned in my reason for calling. That is when he told me that I would have to leave a message and someone would call me back. I was about 3 words into my sentence to say I had already done that when he transferred me again. So I hung up and called back. I asked him if he had a boss that I could speak to because I really needed to get this resolved. He put me on hold then came back and told me I had to leave a message. And transferred me again. This time I left a message, very aggrevated I was able to keep my voice down and refrain from using profanity. Then I called him back again and asked when the best time to call was, so that I could speak to a person not a machine. Thats when he stated that he didn't know and blatantly hung up on me.

At this point I was boiling but still kept my cool. I sent a stern but not rude e-mail to the people that answer the contact us forms. I immediately received a message from them saying that LINN BOYD was in charge of my ticket. The first time I heard that notorious name...

Tuesday November 29 I called back again hoping to reach someone different. When I spoke to them they too transferred me to a voice mail system. I'm thinking if they want to keep sending me to the voicemail I'll keep leaving messages. So i left another message. Then I called back and asked him when would be the best time to get ahold of someone who could help me. He put me on hold. Then he came back and said his manager said i would have to leave a message. And before I could say anything I was transfered to the voicemail again. This time I was rude. I didn't use any profanity but had lost my cool. So I hung up and called back again. I asked the guy who answered the phone if that is the best way to get something done was to keep leaving messages and he said that it actually took longer if you did that. SO I asked him why he kept sending me to it. I told him i would just keep calling back. Thats when he told me that if you are going to do that I will just put you in this special file over here. (I'm thinking yeah the circular file right?) I asked him who I could talk to. He hung up on me. I called back and he hung up again. SO I sent another message on the contact us form on their website.

Shortly after that I came across some helpful info in a Cached ComputerRepair.com forum. The name was J. Holt. Apparently the name that the domain name for FACG is registered so I called back and went to the member directory where it asks you to put in the first 3 letters of their last name. Julie Holt just happened to be in their directory. I was transferred to her voicemail of course. SO I left a message expressing my intent to bring my lawyer into this. Not five minutes later I received a call from none other than LINN BOYD himself. A nasty old man that accused me of being rude. He insisted that I was not given the runaround and that I was in fact the rude one. However he was the one who was raising his voice and using profanities.

Since then he told me everything will be handled through e-mail. Not much has been resolved yet but I'm hoping that this can be resolved with out lawyers and such.

THere are at least 12 other posts that I have read through tentatively and they seem to be having the same issues I am, hopefully we can get these resolved together.
