I pay my phonebill on-line and never scrolled down past the SBC portionuntil yesterday... Saw USBI, and 5 charges of over $16... Total $83.33... Called them, was directed to Tralee (the manager - John, agent number 1) and was told that I could only get credit of $60, the maximum refund under their policy.
Said I signed up for calling card program... Not true... When I said I never even got a calling card, they said they emailed it to me... They said I must have deleted it and it was my fault. He said since i did not respond to their email, i was continued to be billed for the 284 minutes on my calling card, and if i don't use it I lose it.
Got into heated arguement with him, and he said tough luck... Called back USBI and was hung on, as they said I got my refund and I should just "deal with it"...
Called SBC to block any other 3rd party. Also asked for refund here... But will probably be stuck with the charges eventually...
