While moving, my phone was lost and MCI was called (after several atempts) to deactivate the number incase someone stumbled on to my phone. I was told that "a new phone would be sent out and by the way, your contract had expired you need to renew it". I say, "ok" and they send a contract, I sign it. A month goes by, no phone. I call and can't get through for days. I get through, finally someone tells me they never received my contract. I have one faxed to me sign and fax it back. NO, phone but i get a bill for something I didn't even have yet. My phone finally comes but I can't get through to get it activated. I have documented the numerous times I've called and was put on hold for 40 minutes or told "sorry due to the number of calls now we are unable to help you at this time. Please try later." Well later never came but my bills sure continued. I finally received a letter (a year later) saying they were going to deactivate my phone if I didn't pay. Hah! My phone was never activated to begin with. Due to non-payment of a service I've never received I am forever black-balled from the wireless scene. Thanks for nothing MCI.
