On August 29th, last year, my husband and I purchased kitchen cabinets from Idea Kitchens and Bath, location 2320 McDonald Ave., Brooklyn, NY and gave a 50% deposit for new cabinets plus installation. According to their contract cabinets would be delivered between 12-18 weeks. After 20 weeks we went to the store and Roman told us there was a mix up overseas and the goods went to Los Angeles, a mistake done by the warehouse. We went back after Thanksgiving, and they told us by December 20th they will be here. So installation should take place within two weeks. Two weeks later, we called they said customs is holding the goods.
February, I have half of the cabinets, the other half arrives March. They are dishonest, liars, the whole bunch of elderly men, whom seem well spoken but are a bunch of crooks. They have our money and keep telling us a story every two weeks. I need my money NOW and we are ANGRY!!! THEY SAID, WE DO NOT GIVE MONEY BACK. They also do not want to give us any information about the order or paper work to defend themselves. I need to see if there are other people who have come across Idea Kitch and B with the same problems. Please help us! We have a family and living out of boxes and this is terrible. My little son asked for a kitchen back in December (THAT WAS HIS CHRISTMAS WISH). It is now March 28 -SIX MONTHS LATER. No kitchen cabinets..
