Looks like I had the same experience many others are having. I ordered a pair of heated gloves as a Christmas gift for my husband—gave them to him early when bad weather set in. The gloves were small for a Medium. I contacted Cozy Winters—my contact was about four days past their 30 day return policy, though in fact, with shipping, I had not even had the gloves 30 days. And, I just wanted to EXCHANGE them for the larger size. I was told I could only get a store credit and there would be deductions: a $20 "restocking fee" and a deduction for the original purchase shipping charge! (Original shipping was free.) I would only be granted a store credit minus the above. I was astonished. We do a lot of internet shopping, and I have NEVER encountered such ridiculous restrictions on an exchange. I asked what exactly the bottom line credit would be, and so far, have not even had a reply.
Be smart and shop elsewhere. Lots of much better shopping choices out there with companies who really want customers to be happy with their products. I truly wish I had checked review websites before ordering at Cozy Winters as my problem with them seems fairly rampant. They put fee barriers in the way of achieving a simple exchange of product—with this in mind you may wish to avoid using them.
