I spent far too long at the Lansing Sears store today attempting to purchase a few items from a wedding registry. There were no employees available to help. The one man who did help me was a new employee and didn't know how to do some of the transactions I needed done. He could find NO other employees/coworkers to help him.in attempt to remove the items I purchased from the registry (to show that they had been purchased) I was left standing on a phone at a register for at least 30 minutes. No employees ever approached me while I stood at their register on their phone! The shop my way person I spoke with on the phone said the items would be removed from the registry. They were not removed. I then spoke with a manager. She apologized, promised to investigate what had happened, make sure my items were moved from the registry and then call me tonight to confirm she had done these things. I never heard from her. I am furious. I spent 3 hours at Sears for something that should have taken no more than 45 minutes.
