My friends were registered at Sears for their wedding. I went to the store to try to buy something off their registry and ended up waiting 20 minutes while 3 different employees figured out how to print out their registry for me. After all that, the items they had registered for were not in stock at the store.

Time was getting short, so I decided to order the gift online and have it shipped to the bride and groom after their wedding. I had to enter all the information into their website twice, but finally the order looked set. Then I traveled out of town for the wedding. While I was away, Sears cancelled my order. Apparently they had tried to call me regarding the order (on the phone number associated with my credit card - a land line), had not reached me, and so they cancelled the order before I made it back into town. I did receive an email stating that they were trying to reach me, but the email stated that I could only call them Monday-Friday during business hours.By the time I got to a phone on Monday, the order had been cancelled.

I tried to call and get more information regarding the order, but was not given any information as to why the order was cancelled. When trying to re-place the order over the phone, I was disconnected twice from the sales representative.in sum, after 5 days, 2 online order attempts, 3 phone calls, 5 phone representatives and 3 store employees, I still do not know whether my friend will be receiving his wedding gift. It's as if they are trying to keep customers away from their store.
