I went with my disabled and handicapped boyfriend when he purchased a mattress from The Original Mattress Factory at their sales office in Moundsview last summer; therefore, I am familiar with their unprofessionalism and it is despicable the way they treated him.
Since The Original Mattress Factory does not guarantee comfort, then they guarantee their mattresses will be uncomfortable and provide sleepless night. My boyfriend, who uses a wheelchair fulltime, cannot tolerate this kind of mattress and it is not healthy for him to wake up during the night because the mattress is so uncomfortable. It was also dangerous to get a mattress which was too high (difficult to transfer) and so plush, he often slid off.
My boyfriend has had his mattress re-done twice at their factory in Maplewood, MN. If he had had a knowledgeable salesperson help him, the first re-do would not have been necessary because a professional salesperson would have explained how they could help him. Since the mattress is still uncomfortable after a second re-do, I believe the mattress should be returned, and my boyfriend given a full refund (including the re-do and delivery charges) before this uncomfortable mattress speeds the progression of his disease due to the apathy, neglect, dishonesty, unprofessionalism and poor workmanship at The Original Mattress Factory (their store in Moundsview, MN and at their factory and store in Maplewood, MN).
