We hired Lords Moving Company in August to move our daughter and put her stuff in storage. The move going into storage was a disaster. They were hours late coming to move the contents of the apartment very disorganized very unprofessional. They hire ex cons for movers. One of the movers had a problem in the bathroom and left a terrible mess for my wife to clean up. Now we are moving my daughter back into her apartment after she had given birth to her daughter. The move was scheduled for 01-02 between 9 and 10 am. My daughter receives a phone call from Andre that he is running later he will be there between 1 and 2 pm. At 2:30 pm Andre calls my daughter and tells he cant find her furniture in storage. Finally at 3:00 pm he locates the furniture. Now its too late to be delivered because they were told they must compete the move by 5:00 pm its the condo association rules. Now my daughter, 2 1/2 month baby and dog have to check back into a hotel. Andre offered a lousy $100.00 for a room. You can't find a room in South Florida with a dog for $100.00. It cost us $225.00 with the dog deposit. Now the furniture and boxes arrives Thursday morning. All of the boxes were infested with large red bitting ants and thing are missing. We had to hire an exterminatorAll of the furniture was delivered scratched or legs on dressers were broken. The best to add insult to injury is when they moved her in August the cost of the move was $350.00. Now to redeliver the furniture it was $475.00 less the $100.00. If they were honest and reputable movers they should have charged for all of the lies and inconvenience. I will taking them to small claims court. I hope you read this report before you hire them, i wish i had. Lords Moving now that i had read all of the reviews are the worst. I spoke with Jack Stone today and i asked for my money to be refunded. His reply was why the move went good. Jack is on another planet. Bottom line dont ever use lords moving.
