I been employed with directsat usa for a couple of month. Beware working for this company at all. Staff is very un proffesional and they are liars. They will sell you a dream that is not true at all. You will not get past a level 1 tech and also they will work you and not give you the weekend off. The vans are not maintained, they will give you a van that needs a bunch of repairs and when you are in trainning they will not show you anything at all. You will come out of training not knowing how to use the meter or the handheld. At no one in the company is professional, the general manager is a joke, his name is ken and he will not talk to you unless there is a problen. He will not stand up for you at all and will end up firing you he is racist. He only will hiring hispanics at the company to be supervisors and one african as the the general manager. Most of the black guys i see are at the bottom scale will never have a chance to grow with this company. Do not work for this company at all, they will hire you but you will realize you cannot pay your bills working on straight commision and they will do nothing but make you feel like crap each day this is a ripp off company you will end up with out a job with no warnings no matter how much you work.
You are nothing but a number to this company so many techs are quitting. I just laughed go with a better company if you can do not go with directsat at all. They do terrible installs and have a lot of complaints and law suites because how they treat there employees. I am glad they let me go anyone reading this think twice you will look at this and agree to it you will loose your house car famiy and everything. If you work for this company dont do it the beltsville office is a shame you wont ever keep enough equipment and they will; send you to the south office with out warning this is a b. S company
