I recieved the information packet in the mail, and after reading over it, decided I did not want the card. I called the number to cancel, but was bullied into an extended cancellation date, and another information packet. The representative told me that if I still wanted to cancel after recieving the final information packet, I could do so by the 29th of October.
Here's the catch, they never sent me another information packet, which I was waiting for as a passage into the cancellation. Sure enough, days went by, my cancellation period expired, and a charge of $199.99 was made to my checking account, which contained about $1 at the time. So, with a $25 overdraft fee, i found myself $225 in debt to my bank.
I called the company, furious, and they told me they couldnt do anything for me. I talked to a supervisor, he said he couldnt do anything for me. So here i am, $225 owed to my bank that i dont have and wont have for some time, and im screwed. That's the only way i can describe it, im screwed. So, if you recieve a letter from them, throw it away asap!!!
