I've been a member for almost a year now; I think I've been on about 5 dinner parties, and 2 one on one dates. I signed up with Maureen in their Irvine office, and felt like I was in good hands. I was a little surprised to discover that she wouldn't be my matchmaker, and that I would be working
with Annie. I did like talking to Annie, and felt like she was getting what I wanted, so it was ok.
I'm in my mid 40s, am divorced and have a daughter. At first I thought I wanted to date guys who didn't have children, as long as they were were fine that I was a mom. After going on a few
dates with guys I met through the service, who didn't have kids, I realized that I should focus on dating someone who had kids, and who could relate to being a parent. So I called them up, and had a conversation about changing who I wanted to meet.
Boy, am I glad I did. After that, we focused on getting me out on matches with some single dads. I met Paul, who has a daughter close to the age of my daughter. He is a great dad, is smart and professional, cute, and he is so nice. We've been seeing each other a few months now. We didn't run in the same social circle, and he lives a few towns away from me, so I can't imagine I would have met him otherwise. I'm glad I joined... And am glad that he joined.
