Hotel advertised free wireless Internet. It was the deciding factor when I booked a hotel/casino in Laughlin Nevada. When I checked out I was charged $12.00 a day for the "free" internet. When I called to complain, while I was on hold, the recorded message, ironically, continued to advertise free Internet.
When I got a live person I was told the free internet was available in Starbucks near the Casino, not in the rooms. He agreed the advertising was "misleading" but there was nothing he could do.
