This is a horrible long and painful situation which has caused me about 12 hours of my personal time and about 10 of anger and stress for something that from the beginning would start with many mistakes. I bought 3 of the only 12 tickets that were available for a concert my 13 year old daughter would request it to be her 14th b-day party for her and a friend and myself go to see The Ready Sets which per daughter (I do not do concerts or events of this nature and would be the first of this kind of purchase for me) was to be taking place on March 6 at The Ottobar located in Baltimore City Maryland at 7:00pm so on Friday 1/8 late evening prior to her going to bed what was going on with the concert? She stated that since I had taken her Ipod which was where she saved 3 tickets from a company called MissionTix.com so I gave her the Ipod back she checked the App and states that it is now saying the concert will be at The Ram's Head Live located in East Balitmore City Maryland, I advised her that this did not sound rigt that a Band could not change this type of information once tickets were on sale so once all were in bed around 2:00am, I browsed my Ipod for available tckets to this event only to find a place called Stub Hub which would also turn out to an App I had on my Ipod.
I went to www.stubhub.com and followed through with making a purchase from my Ipod Touch which has no copying capabilities but did not concern self with this knowing I would just go downstairs to the available computer with a printer and will make this story shorter if possible with many e-mails from stub hub which would all list this event TO BE HELD AT THE OTTOBAR at 7:00 p. M but when I did figure out how to get the tickets to download and print from this purchase made not 2 hours prior to the download would ONLY NOTICE once they were printed that many CONCERNING MISTAKES WERE or HAD BEEN with this PURCHASE and the further I went into all the paperwork which was included with this $200 purchase made by me to a company STUB HUB but when the tickets which were attached to a e3-mail from Stub Hub.com would have their NAME NOWHERE ON these tickets along with a different location and time that was posted and SOLD TO ME WITH ALL THE RECEIPTS and E-MAILS CONFIRMATIONS from stub hub if THIS WOULD NOT BE BAD ENOUGH and cause YOU NOT TO want to EITHER KEEP them or TO TRY TO USE OR TAKE THEM ANYWHERE but it GOT WORSE. I would not be aware of ANY of concert tickets and what they were to LOOK LIKE so I had no knowledge but WOULD BE ALARMED due to the per conversatioon with my 13 year hours befoe about MISSIONTIX.com would be boldly on these downloaded tickets I just printed and paid $ 200.00.
I called Stub Hub at the number listed in all there e-mail to call if I had any concerns and in one of the e-mails it clearly STATED TO CHECK MY TICKETS good and if I had any problems to CALL THEM this is what I did and had to call twice and waste about 4 more hours of my time explaining this mistake and HOW THEY MUST correct this before the rest of the tickets were sold with the incorrect information before ALL the tickets THIS COMPANY HAS ALREADY sold and HOW MANY OTHERS HAVE OR ARE GOING TO BE SCREWED BY THIS COMPANY. Along with the incorrect information they SOLD ME I WOULD THEN go onto the Ram's Head Live's website ONLY TO FIND they HAD THIS EVENT ON THEIR LIST OF UPCOMING EVENTS and I COULD PAY THE TICKETS RIGHT from the actual location which THE CONCERT is TO BE TAKING PLACE since the band had CHANGED THEIR TIME AND LOCATIION to a larger place AND STUB HUB knew and wil NOT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY for their mistake but WOULD TELL ME they could not help me and did not own the actual tickets so therfore the only way I would be able to recoup my money would be to RELIST THEM WITH THEM I advised Stub Hub I would not do this FOR MANY REASONS one being THIS TRANSACTION IS ILLEGAL IN the UNITED STATS and is CALLED TICKET SCALPING if found doing this type OF TRANSACTION ON THE STREET prison time YOU WOULD FACE... This compay would be asking me to break the law SO BACK ON TOPIC I WOULD be giving a STORE CREDIT only after I pointed out THEIR MISTAKE AND HOW THEY WERE TO SOLVE it they would offer me this I WOULD TELL ME i WOULD NOT USE THIS that this purchase for this concert was A ONE TIME THING and do NOT ATTAIN THESE TYPES OF EVENTS but they refused to refund my charge card, THE TICKETS WHICH I PRINTED OUT I had already PUT A MARK ACROSS THE 3 PRINTED TICKETS and would NOT EVEN USE THEM IF I WAS FORCED TO? The tickets have a MAN'S NAME ON THE TOP and would be another BIG MISTAKE which would never TRUST THIS COMPANY and would never PURCHASE OR VALIDATE the store credit in FEAR THAT THESE ANYTHING PRINTED OR MAILED TO ME for any event WOULD AND MOST LIKELY would be incorrect. I ended the converstion on the same day I purchased them that I would be going to Master Card to explain this situation and would not approved this transaction.
I thought this and is A VERY SIMPLE AND CLEARLY observable MISTAKE WHICH WAS MADE on many levels BY STUB HUB and THEY NEED TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for their mistake in allowing this person to list and sell and pass on tickets to be UNUSEABLE in mistake along with SELLING the tickets for TRIPLE THE PRICE per TICKET the original SITE HOSTING THE EVENT IS SELLING THEM FOR minus a $20 service fee and a $ 4.95 delivery fee for tickets (which I printed out of my printer at my expense of ink and time) when again I follow the tickets STUB HUB allowed their member to list TO THE RAM'S HEAD LIVE LOCATION where I placed an order for 3 tickets to be mailed to me this transaction WOULD TAKE LESS THEN 5 MIN AND WAS PLACED the same day I would purchase the 3 tickets from Stub Hub for $ 200.00 and could have bought as many as I would have liked. The arrived on Monday via mail for free AND WITH THE $ 13.00 ticket price verses the $ 58.00 STUB HUB CHARGED me would HAVE ALL THE TICKETS nicely stapled together with a special ENTRANCE PASS which would allow myself and kids to ARRIVE 2 HOURS EARLY and ALL eats would be half off. STUB HUB WOULD NOT OFFER THIS SERVICE but sold me 3 tickets for $ 58 and got nothing.
I did everything I could to get my charge card just REFUNDED but WOULD NOT BE ABLE. SO i am forced to GO LEGAL..
