I thought it would be best for all potential models thinking of signing with AWT to know just where their $ is going toward. The photographer is paid $700 per day for shooting up to 10 models 4 looks each. That is $70 per model or $17.50 per look. The makeup artist is paid $300 per day which equates to $30 per model or $7.50 per look. I'm no economist, but I'm fairly certain the economies of scale theory doe not apply to this particular business model since the agency is collecting more than 400% of the revenue of payments rcvd. For the models photoshoot. Yet the the Makeup artist and Photographer are the creatives that are making this venture possible... Do yourself a favor and during these harsh economic times ask annoying questions to those people who willing take your money with no promise that you will ever have a signed contract or even that you will have a return on that $500 (and higher investment) within even a year.
