Just a quick note about my experience at Six Flags on Halloween. I spoke with the CSM who was a 17 or 18 year old girl and explained we got stuck SPINNING on Tony Hawk for a good 20 minutes. This made us both sick and unable to enjoy our evening. We had a simple request, upgrade our tickets to season passes so we can come back and spend more money the next night. She refused stating that it wasn't their fault that our evening was ruined and they were not going to compensate us for being stuck on a ride. I explained I didn't want any "compensation" I wanted what I paid nearly $150 for... A fun night. I told her my only other option was to take it up with my credit card company. She pulled my tickets and saw we got there at 8:45 and it was only 9:45. She said "you've been in the park for an hour already, as if that was supposed to matter.
I don't know, if I was asking too much, please by all means, someone say something. But the way I see it, I spent $150 on tickets, parking and haunted house passes that we didn't get to enjoy.instead she wanted me to come back and pay $10 per ticket AND pay for the haunted house tickets all over again. I didn't even say anything about the haunted house tickets because that money goes to the Boy Scouts. But instead of us going back the next night and spending some money (and during Christmas and several times next year, easily spending a couple of thousand dollars in the process), we're not going back, period. All over a $30 upgrade on our tickets.
So lets see, they could have given me $60 (theoretically. Doesn't cost them anything if you think about it) or they could lose a couple of thousand (and countless more considering the years to come). Plus she agreed that I should dispute this with my credit card company And they wonder why their company is going bankrupt and they had to close down Astroworld.
