I purchased a laptop computer from Best Buy based on the sale price in a newspaper ad. The computer I got had been opened by their Geek Squad and had software installed on it which they charged me for and which the ad didn't mention. I attempted to return the computer (unopened and unused by me) and was first told they could give me a refund because it had been opened! After a rather loud discussion, they finally agreed to refund the computer, but NOT the software which I had not requested. Their argument? I could have copied the software! (Remember, I never opened the computer.) They finally gave me a refund for the computer, but kept $150.00 for the unused and unrequested software. Watch these guys. They're sneaky!
