I noticed a charge on my credit card from MWI Connections for $109.95 and tried to reach a customer representative but instead went through a bunch of recordings of their menu.
I called up my credit card company to ask about the charge. They could not verify what was being charged to this company and so they connected me to an MWI rep. When I got on the phone with one of their reps, I asked him what the charge was for.
He had mentioned that I must have used their service to buy dinner and movie tickets on October 4th of last year which I was charged $95 for (I never got around to checking it out since I just had a baby). He could not tell me specifically what I had bought through them.
I know I didn't use their service or buy dinner or movie tickets since I was ready to have a baby so there was NO way I would be going out anytime in the future so I know MWI had unjustly charged me $95 last year.
I caught the charge this year and asked why I was billed for a membership I will never use esp. Since I have no time to go out plus I'm trying to save money.
The rep didn't seem to care and was trying to still tell me all the benefits of their service and how I can save money since he heard me say that. I repeatedly told him that I had no interest and that I wanted to be refunded on my credit card.
I was infuriated the 3rd time he tried to sell me their services by giving me a discount. I had to be rude and tell them I just wanted my money back. He supposedly told me it would take two billing cycles to get my refund.
I went online to find their website to file a complaint and surprise... No website. I had no idea how corrupt this company was.
It seems they obviously don't care about anyone since they have no problem stealing your money. I hope with all the complaints out there, I hope they get what they deserve.
