In January of my husband and I booked Monty Benton, owner of Texas Affairs Mobile DJ, to Dj at our May wedding. We signed a contract and paid him in full at our meeting.
Our May 21st wedding date came, and there was no DJ at our wedding. He was a no-show! Our family members tried several times to contact him before our wedding reception started, but were unsuccessful. They did however, leave several phone messages that were never returned.
My husband waited until the Tuesday after our wedding to contact Mr. Benton to try and get a reason for him being a no-show. Mr. Benton had no legitimate reasons for his carelessness and did not offer make his wrong right.
My husband and I have been trying for six months now to get our money refunded, but to no avail. We have tried on several different occassions to make appointments with Mr. Benton, only to have his promises to meet us go unkept. He refuses to refund our due money for a job and contract that he did not come through on.
