I was highly disappointed in this service, attitude and professionalism (or lack of).
We hired Monty, who boasted on himself and his company and how much he paid to have his site number one on google, 9 weeks before our wedding. The entire process with him was quiet difficult and he acted as if we were providing him a service instead of the other way around. He would take his time returning calls and made it difficult to arrange the rehearsal. At the rehearsal he came in calling out demands and was out of line. He constantly interrupted our pastor and insulted our church. Luckily my pastor has a sense of humor.
On Saturday his "team" (his son and his friend and Monty's girlfriend) showed up in his place (having not been at the rehearsal) and absolutely ruined my ceremony. My husband was so upset. I would have been too, but luckily I didn't see or hear any of it. The songs they played while our guests were being seated were all wrong and our guests were confused at the selections. My husband and pastor and daughters walked out to the wrong music and when I asked CHristine (Monty's girlfriend) what was happening she just shrugged shoulders. They were on their cell phones during all this trying to get it right and couldn't. I just stood there waiting for the right song to be played for me to walk out. How hard is the bridal march, really? Our coodinator said he is now on her DO NOT USE LIST of vendors. She said what I didn't hear was the worst part!
On Sunday, my husband called to talk to Monty and he acted as if he had no idea and Christine denied any of it. After several phone calls he had the nerve to say the rehearsal was the most important part! We corrected him saying our wedding ceremony was the most important part, it was our wedding!!! He offered a $100 refund. How insulting. Never an apology and never did he take responsibility. Anyone cas play music off of a computer for a party, but you have to actually care to be a wedding DJ and this man and his company do not. The respect is non existant.
