We had reservations to go tubing on 7/27. Because of the rain that day I called Wahoo before we left to make sure there wouldn't be a problem, since we had a 2 hr drive to get there. We were told they operate rain or shine (except for lighting), and at the time of our reservation there was only a 10% chance of rain. The person I spoke to said we could change our reservation date if we wanted, but based on what he said, we decided to go ahead with our plans. When we arrived we were told all tubing was cancelled because of flooding. They asked, since we drove all that way if we would like to go rafting, another 1 hr drive away, at a "special" 2 for 1 price of $175 for the 4 of us (not including the price of the water shoes we had to buy for the kids). So as not to disappoint the kids after the long drive, we decided to do it. Wahoo said they would extend our original certificate for tubing to but I would have preferred that they just applied the price I paid for the tubing against the $175, which they would not do. The rafting that day was ok, but not worth $175, and I'm not sure we even want to drive 2 hrs again to go back for tubing.
