I have filed a complaint with Pride Mobility regarding safety concerns with the design of the power chairs of which they manufacture. I am on O2 and use a O2 concentrator which requires tubing so I can get around my home. For the past 8 months I have done everything humanly possible but the poor and dangerous design of their product males it IMPOSSIBLE to prevent the tubing from becoming tangled in the tires, the anti-tip wheels or the many opened areas in and around the arm rests. Pride Mobility has issued a response to my claim, and they have said and I quote "... The chair itself is not to blame in these situations". I have since receiving their response filed a formal complaint with the Consumer Safety Protection Commission. I am further presently waiting for an attorney to assess as to whether I may have a suit against Pride Mobility regarding the safety concerns of their dangerously designed power chair in relation to persons that must use tubing from an O2 concentrator.
