I purchased tickets from StubHub after my girlfriend stated she want to go to a specific concert. My intention was a surprise for valentine's day. However, after ordering very expensive tickets, I realize that the concert tickets are not even on sale yet. StubHub made no reference to this and my tickets are not even specific. StubHub is allowing is sellers to post listing for tickets, that either do not EXIST or they allow sellers to list tickets that they don't even have yet. There claim is that the seller might have purchased somewhere else in a presale? After contacting the venue, they deny this. After sending three emails to StubHub, I have been offered to resale the tickets that are supposed to show up for two days before the concert. How exactly is this a resolution. The concert I wanted to attend it 12 hours away and it's a finale concert so the venues are limited. I have contacted my credit card company, who tells me I can contest, but I must wait thirty days for the merchandise to be recieved before I can make a claim. Ironically, the tickets actually go on sale the day I will be able to make my claim. So far StubHub reps have been nice but basically deny any kind of cancellation or refund as it's in their disclaimer. Please be aware that tickets on StubHub are not what they seem and StubHub makes no effort to protect it's customers from this kind of misleading advice. StubHub continues to refer to it's Fan Guarantee, but my issue with this arises from the fact that they allow people to presale tickets they don't actually have and make this listing general, so when things don't pan out with your tickets, you have no basis to contest your seats because no reasonably certain terms we assigned to the agreement. I would highly suggest that you do NOT use StubHub, just buy your tickets through someone else who values their customers. I wish I only would have read reviews prior to purchasing and after reading reviews my chargeback request does not look promising either. So basically, use StubHub at your own risk or not at all.
