Cleaning air ducts - Sears Home Cleaning

I have attempted to have Sears come out to my parent's home twice to clean their air
ducts. The first appointment was made online and I received a confirmation of the appointment. The date/time came and went and no techincian, no phone call. I called to inquire and was told by the office staff they were unsure as to why the techincian did not show, as it was on their schedule. Another appoinment was made for the following week. Three days prior, I called to confirm, as my mother was rearranging her schedule to be there for the techincian, and was told the yes, the technician would arrive on that date/time. Unfortunately, again, the date/time came and went and no technician, no phone call. I called again and spoke to a man who told me he was unsure what had happened, but would call the technician and call me back. He did just that and informed me the technician had "decided to reschedule" and gave no reason why. I inquired about why the technician or office staff didn't call to inform us, and the man had no explanation. I asked him to please have a supervisor call me to discuss the issue. He was insistent on rescheduling and I told him that would be fine, but until I spoke with a supervisor, we would not go through with the service.

Several days later, and 3 emails (Sears.com, Searshomecleaning.com and Searshome.com) and 2 phone messages later (of which, no response was received), I finally reached someone in the local office and told them to cancel the appointment. I explained why, but the man was apparently not interested and just said "ok" and had no other explanation, no attempt to rectify the issue, nothing.

Since that time, I've sent numerous emails to Sears corporate, many other Sears customer service, and am still shocked that other than one email that gives me the 1-800 number (which requires you to enter the zip code in which the service is needed, thereby connecting you to the local office, the very people who do not seem to care) to contact, I've not received any type of contact from a customer service agent to discuss this issue.

I've lost all interested in ever shopping at Sears again, and will go out of my way to avoid it for future home purchases, appliances, clothing, etc.

Very, very disappointed in Sears.
