Robert Lontkowski, with Prudential Arizona Properties in Scottsdale, AZ, was less than forthright when representing a property in Terravita, an area he lives in. When asked about the moldy smell in the home, he said it had been closed up. Similar dodges on other items followed. When our $400 professional inspector looked at the home, he said that the mold was a serious problem. Bob Lontkowski dodged the issue of repair, kept us uninformed, blamed others and kept us on the string, probably hoping we would give in... Recognize the drill? Lontkowski wasted our time and our Realtor's time, and money, and set us behind in our home relocation. Being a former owner of a multiple office real estate firm in the Midwest, I felt my wife and I know ethics, good service, and professional transparency. We understand the business, and have great patience with Realtor services as a result, but found him to be cleverly deceptive, cunning and less than honest, in our judgement.
