Incident - August. Never resolved. 2009 Hurricane season right around the corner. I would like to advise any and all people that this business took advantage of my age and situation when I had a problem with my home. All the contracts that were written were not followed.in fact, they removed all my personal property (furniture, wedding photos, clothes, jewelry, books, family heirlooms) from my house while I was at work. I have attempted to have this problem resolved quietly with the BBB and PDR Restoration Services. Specifically the wife of Gerald Aldredge. I keep getting the run around. They have all the contents of my home in their possession. All I have asked for is my family belongings and all I have received is two sentence emails asking that I stop complaining. I will not stop complaining until I have all my belongings back. The BBB works for the business not for the consumer. Remember this. They are not out to protect you. It's only through private citizens that the word can be spread of corrupt businesses who take advantage and mislead people. I feel robbed at all that my family and myself has lost through this. I feel betrayed by the BBB as well as Alldredge and his family owned business. I do feel that all of this can come to a successful conclusion. Until this happens, I will not keep my mouth shut as I have been asked to. They know who I am, and they know how to get in touch with me. Please keep in mind, with hurricane season you do NOT want this family company in your life. They claim to work for you, not the insurance company. Why? I asked my insurance company and they said they have nothing to do with a contractor. I am the insurance company's client, and they have nothing to do with contractors. And as last stated in my private email with Mrs. Alldredge, I will keep my end of the deal once the problem is resolved. Until then, I will continue to pray for justice. You can also do a search for PDR Restoration Services. They do NOT work for you. And the BBB overlooks matters they feel are unimportant when they are being paid for their name on a business plate. I pray this message keeps you from contacting this company for any and all problems you may have with your home or business. (floods, hurricanes, and any other elements that will result you needing a company to help you out.) They will tear your house apart and remove all belongings, even when the contract states in bold letters the personal property will be placed on a "movable pod" on your property. I managed through some friends to find out where my belongings were being stored out originally. When PDR services found this out, they had our personal property moved and the employee working at the storage facility fired. They will do anything to benefit themselves. They do NOT work for you. It had been years since I was able to get in contact with them. It is a shame that in this world, there are so many businesses that take advantage of people... And who is left to suffer from the loss? This company has not lost anything. However, I will continue to complain until this matter is resolved.
