Dec we took advantage of your carpet/installation sale. All was good, nice clean-up job, no seams etc. Then I vacuumed our new carpet. It started unraveling in 3 separate spots where it was pieced together. Knowing there was an installation warranty, we called the customer service number and then the store, who gave us the installers number. We were then told we didn't take care of our carpet correctly and that it is a type that can't be vacuumed. Okay, I didn't know carpet couldn't be vacuumed and for $2600.00 I think it is a major detail to disclose. At any rate, the installer came back to fix the raveling problem. It looks like I installed it, very poorly done; seams showing and an embarrassment. The kicker is, a gentleman called to find if we were happy with our purchase and the installation, I told him no, started to explain my compliant and then he hung up on me. I wrote a letter, I got a letter back stating they were reducing my credit limit, which is more then fine. I won't be shopping at Lowe's ever again.
