I had the misfortune of having carpet from Lowes 's out of Woodhaven MI, installed by the carpet installers they outsource too. From the minute I opened my door, the installer whose name was Nick was rude to me and it continued through the installation. First of all they were an hour late, and it had started snowing. There was less than an inch of snow and the installer complained that the least I could have done was shovel the entryway. There was not a 'good afternoon', 'hello', nothing just rudeness. I didn't even mention how late they were! When I tried to nicely resolve the situation at the end of the wok being completed, the installer began yelling at me and i finally was forced to tell him to get out of my house. Thankfully, the installation seems to be ok but I WILL NEVER GO TO LOWES to have carpet installed or any other service from them. I will also tell all of my friend's and family members about what happened. Since we are planning to buy a new house in the next couple of years, that is a lot of $ that Lowe's will be losing due to their inability to handle this situation. When I called the storein Woodhaven, I was given the run around by the store manager and they were supposed to resolve the situation. My husband called and he was rushed off the phone. Their resolution is to have the installing company's owner call me. How is that resolving what occurred? Sad, especially when this happened the DAY after CHRISTMAS!!
