First im a contractor and I spend around $50000.00 a yr at home depot. Maybe up to $70000.00. I wanted arc shingles 51 bundles delivered to my job. I told them grey-well the guy sells me the grey 4 bundle to a square shingles. Tells me they r all the same. 3 bundle to a square is typical. Nevers says anything. Well I had 17 square so I needed 17 more bundles wich cost $31 dollars ea. If he ordered me the right ones I would have payed $1.75 more for my original bundles. So I found out once half the shingles were on the roof. This ordeal cost me$500 more. The ass. Manager says he can give me a box of nails and a small percentage off. It equaled $53.00 wow wee. Their original screw up cost me half my profit and he said im sorry if I lose ur business. I would have taken a home depot gift card for the full or even half and been satisfied. So I will 100% go out of my way and give lowes my business if it is not rectified. I talk to lowes and they would have given me a gift card for the amount, rather than lose $50-70,000 a yr. I ve been a contractor for years and was buying almost every week 6-7 days a week for yrs. From home depot. I would like to talk to someone higher up.
