My husband and I purchased cabinets from Home Depot in Sudbury. We also did major bathroom renovations as well. When the cabinet were being installed I noticed that the design / door style was wrong on the drawers and it looked funny. They ordered the correct doors and the colour was off slightly. I was young and said it would be fine. Later the stain on cabinets started fading in areas and we called them back to look. Understand that I already was dealing with doors that didn't match perfectly already and now they wanted to send other cabinets to correct issue. I was not ok with this. Didn't want a 3 tone cabinets and they ended up removing a cabinet door to match colour anyways. Home Depot lost my cabinet door... Now they have to replace that door which contractors were saying it won't match up because the door would need now to me hand made because company no longer building cabinets. So they took another door off my cabinets and lost that door!
Now I have cabinets with two missing doors. They have done nothing about replacing or fixing this problem.
After calling and calling and getting no where. I had to finally give up after my husband was diagnoses as dying and needed an organ transplant. I called Home Depot one last time in tears letting them know that I could no longer keep persuring my cabinet issue with them because my husband was very sick and we had 3 small children 2,4, 5 years old and I just didn't have the energy to deal with them anymore. I told them my husband was very sick and can't keep calling but that it didn't mean I was ok... It just meant that I don't have anything left inside of me to keep up this fight.
My husbands life was saved when he received a transplant with only weeks the doctors said to live. This experience with Home Depot has been one of the worst experiences in my life as far as customer satisfaction goes. I am still missing two cabinet doors in my kitchen and everyday I look at this larger hole in my cabinets and remember how terrible we were treated and how much we went through because of Home Depot giving us the run around for years only to lie and manipulate us: (
