I understand the Memphis Police Department have to police some of the most dangerous streets in America, however, they have a new policy where if you have a minor traffic violation they have taken to publishing your name and birthdate and address online with google. They are the only Police Department I know of that is taking such a heavy handed tactic with people and honestly the way they are using Google, in my opinion, is considered online harrassment and stalking.
I mean, really, for a seatbelt violation or a failure to put on a signal light if you don't pay the ticket right away your online information including your address and date of birth are placed high on google as soon as someone googles your name? God Forbid if you are fleeing an abusive partner or spouse or if you are in hiding. God forbid you are presently looking for a job.
Funny the Memphis police will do this when throughout recent years their own force has been filled with crooked and corrupt police being busted for everything from sex trading, prostitution and drugs.
